PWtime is a free, browser-based password generator. Everything runs locally: choose your length, pick the character sets, generate, and copy. No account, no servers, no tracking.

PWtime is part of the TimeJuggle toolkit: lightweight tools that respect your focus and privacy. It pairs nicely with our Pomodoro timer to secure accounts during your focus blocks.

1. Set length: Pick a length between 2–14 characters (12+ recommended).
2. Select sets: Include lowercase, UPPERCASE, digits, and optionally symbols.
3. Generate: Click Generate to create a new password locally.
4. Copy: Click Copy to add it to your clipboard.
5. Repeat: Generate fresh passwords for every account.

Tip: Use different passwords per site and store them in a reputable password manager.

• Go longer: 12+ chars with 3–4 sets is a strong default.
• Per-site unique: Never reuse passwords between services.
• Store safely: Consider a password manager for recall.
• 2FA: Enable two-factor authentication where possible.
• Rotate on leaks: Change passwords after breach notices.

Does PWtime send my passwords anywhere?

No. PWtime runs fully in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored on our servers.

How strong are the passwords?

Strength depends on length and sets. As guidance, 12+ characters with lower/upper/digits/symbols is considered strong.

Can I use symbols?

Yes! Toggle the Symbols option. If a website forbids certain symbols, regenerate without them.

Why is there a 14 character cap?

To keep the UI simple for most cases. If you need longer, generate twice and combine manually.

Does PWtime save anything?

No account is needed. Any minor preferences may stay in your browser storage only.
